Privacy details

Files stay on your device. Conversion and downloads happen in your browser, and your files are never uploaded.

What happens to your files

Your HEIC and HEIF photos are processed locally in your browser. The converted files are generated on your device and are not sent to any server. All converters on this site work the same way.

Photo metadata

Photo metadata is removed by default. Your converted image does not include GPS, camera, or date-taken data.

Usage analytics

We may collect minimal, non-file usage analytics, such as whether a conversion completed and how long it took. These events never include your file names, file contents, EXIF, or exact file sizes, and they are linked to an anonymous, randomly generated session ID that lives only in your browser.

Usage limits

The converters support up to 20 files per batch, 25 MB per file, and 100 MB of input per batch. High-resolution photos use more memory.
